Testimonial by Bobby (Dad of Thomas); My 15 month old son was having seizures, and we needed to take him from Crescent City, CA to Oakland Children's Hospital. I had no idea how I was going to come up with the money to get down there. It is a very long drive, and to top things off, my car would not be able to make the trip. So when a friend suggested I call Hope Flight Foundation to see if they could help, I did. I could not believe how friendly and personal Hope Flight Foundation was. When I called them I wasn't expecting to be talking to my pilot let alone that the entire cost of traveling would be covered. The pilot maintained contact to keep me informed of all things. Then the pilot flew up to Crescent City, to pick us up (I really was happy to have the same person that I had been talking to on the phone the whole time being the person taking us).
After my son's tests and talking with the doctors, we were flown back home the next day.
I would truly say if anyone was ever looking to donate money, Hope Flight Foundation is deserving, mainly because it's people are helping others when they need it the most. This is one Foundation that could use it to help ill children.
